FUTURE MEETINGS

Wine Barrels

21st May  - our next meeting/tasting. We will be welcoming a new speaker,  Mr. Tom Illsley, from the Theatre of Wine. He will be speaking about wines from regions of Italy, and certainly wines  off the beaten track, so it should be an exciting event. The location will be  our new permanent venue for tastings the Pavilion, Broadstairs and  as usual includes a two course meal with coffee or tea.​

3rd July  - There is a proposal to have a day-trip to the Dungeness coast, including a ride on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway plus a visit to a well known and respected vineyard. Further details to be announced shortly.

24th September - marks our AGM  to be held at our principal meeting venue the Pavilion, Broadstairs. Details to follow. This year some committee member are stepping down, so we will be asking for help on the committee in 2026.​

 22nd October -This meeting/tasting  is entitled 'Uncorking Brazil - a carnival of wines'  and will be conducted by another first time speaker, Nicholas Corfe, of Go Brazil Wines.  We look forward to everyone coming along to welcome him. ​

19th November  - This time we will be welcoming Tim Ford, founder of Domaine Gayda in south west France. His vineyard produces in the region of 1.3 million bottles of wine annually, which is distributed worldwide.  ​

10th December -  the TWAS Christmas dinner.  We will have a festive three course meal and coffee, with wines  especially selected for this dinner by the committee.

21st January 2026 - diary date for the first meeting in 2026.  Details to follow.
